Associate Director
The Associate Director is responsible for providing assistance to the Executive Director, giving special attention to the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the strategic plan and goals for the center. Responsible for overseeing the implementation of center initiatives, track and communicate progress of goals, evaluate and continuously improve center performance, and oversee daily operations.
Educational Requirements:
Master's Degree in Educational Leadership or related field or 10+ years experience in similar job role.
Other Required Qualifications:
A good working knowledge of early childhood education, language and literacy development, and reading science; string leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; solid computer literacy; and strong organizational and management skills.
Required Experience:
3-5 years of relevant work in early childhood education, research study design and outcome measurement, leadership, and supervisory experience.
Professional Development Specialist
The Professional Development Specialist will design and implement a statewide professional development program in early language, literacy, and brain development for childcare providers, teachers, and caregivers of children from birth to third grade in Georgia. Responsibilities include creating evidence-based training materials, leading workshops, and delivering professional learning opportunities on developmentally appropriate practices. The role also involves coordinating community outreach and literacy initiatives, managing specialized events, and supporting instructional leadership. The Specialist will ensure content effectiveness, maintain resources, and adopt best practices in adult learning to enhance early childhood education statewide.
Educational Requirements: Master’s degree in early childhood education, Child Development, or a closely related field or 10 + years’ of related experience and position.
Required Experience: 3–5 years of experience in early childhood education with children birth through age 8, along with expertise in supporting adult learning, coaching, and facilitation.
